About your teacher

Math feels terrifying?
You’re not alone.

Math Simplified is built and taught by one teacher with 18 years of experience across pre-university mathematics — A-Level, IB and beyond. Her whole method comes down to one belief:

“Math isn’t hard when you truly understand it.”

Understand first

concepts before memorization, always

In her own words

A letter to every student who “hates maths”

For the past 15 years, I’ve heard students say they “hate maths” more times than I can count — probably more than the number of times I blink! 😊

But here’s the truth: math isn’t hard when you truly understand it.

My passion is helping students understand concepts clearly, not just memorize them. I also teach effective answering techniques, so you can walk into any exam and tackle any question with confidence.

Let me help you turn fear into confidence — and maybe even love maths too.

The method

Eighteen years, distilled into three principles

Every lesson on this platform is built the same way she teaches in person — refined over nearly two decades of real classrooms.

Simplified formulas

Every formula is broken down into a form you can actually remember — and more importantly, understand why it works.

Easy-to-follow explanations

Concepts are built step by step, in plain language, so the next idea always rests on one you already understand.

Personalized teaching methods

Eighteen years of classrooms teach you one thing: no two students get stuck the same way. Lessons anticipate the different ways a concept can be misunderstood.

Plus: exam answering techniques

Understanding wins the concept; technique wins the marks. Every course also covers how to structure answers, where marks are awarded, and how to approach questions you’ve never seen before.

What changes

When you understand better, you…

1

Gain confidence

When the method makes sense, the fear disappears — and confidence shows up in the exam hall.

2

Solve questions more easily

Understanding the why means unfamiliar questions stop being scary. You recognise the idea underneath.

3

Improve naturally

No cramming cycles. When concepts are truly understood, marks climb on their own.

Turn fear into confidence.
